April Roundup: The Core Says It All

As defined by Merriam-Webster;

Core: a central and often foundational part usually distinct from the enveloping part by a difference in nature.

The core.

The inmost or most important part.

As I’ve arrived in my mid-30s, I find myself looking at situations with a more outward approach. I have the ability to listen to my intuitions better,  look for substance in people, and care how companies conduct business in our society.

I’m going to take a few minutes in this months’ Roundup and share some insight about our three core values here at Fisheye, and how our team honors these —not only the workplace, but in their personal lives as well.

You’ll notice insights from myself, and the members of our team in the FishBowl.

Integrity

Impact

Trust

Matthew Schock, an Account Manager and our lead videographer, knows we have integrity here in The Fishbowl:

I think of the little decisions made daily where we have the possibility to cut a corner, yet we choose not to.”

We love to write stories for our clients; to be a visionary for them, and we strive to make an impact with passion behind it all.

As I polled the team for some thoughts, both Matthew and Troy (our founder) mentioned, “We all agreed that every action we take has an intended business impact in mind.”

We don't do a task if we don't believe it will have a tangible impact on the business.

Our CEO, Troy Klongerbo, has the right frame of mind:

“We work to build trust — with our partners and on their behalf."

Oftentimes, it’s the pulse behind what we do.We want to do meaningful work and the partnerships we’ve created don’t happen without a lot of built trust and faith.

As Hannah Cramer said: “I know our team trusts one another to accomplish the tasks that create great marketing content.

Our team has a lot of fun together. Our client partnerships and projects give us a heartbeat here at Fisheye. The culture we have created just adds the cherry on top.

Values matter.

Values are the glue that holds our culture together. It creates purpose and commitment to one another.

Our team has these values in place so we are all empowered towards the same end goal.

It unites us as human beings to the core.
